edit Integrating a Photo Gallery into Your Blog

WordPress can display photographs quite nicely, and in a variety of ways.

edit Using the Built-in "Gallery" Feature

This will embed in your Post or Page a set of thumbnails of images that you uploaded.

  • Click on the "Add Image" button in the visual editor:

  • Click on "Choose Files to Upload"

    • Select the image files you'd like to appear in your gallery. Click "Select." After the file has been uploaded, you can add information about the image, including a caption that will display in the Gallery.
  • Click on "Gallery." The images you just uploaded will display in list form

  • Click on "Insert Gallery into Post"

  • The "Image Uploader" will close, and you'll see the following text

  • Your gallery will display in a way similar to this (exact display depends on your settings):
